1. Our Story:

  We began KW A La Mode in October 2020 in the pool discussing our dreams during Covid lockdown.  We all have daughters that we love to shop for, however, it was never an easy task because things were "too itchy, too tight, too stiff or the tag was scratchy,".... This inspired us to create an online store that allows girls to have awesome style while still being comfortable.  We take pride in hand picking every item of each collection keeping in mind a “sensory friendly” mindset. Our kidz collection is soft, yet on trend and versatile. As we began, we noticed the moms feeling a little left out, so we started buying a few women's items and they sold out quickly. That took us only a few months to figure out, so today KW caters to both kidz and women.

We carry something for everyone starting at a girls size 7 through a women's XL.

We pride ourselves on customer service and personal styling. So it made sense that while we were in the middle of the lockdown, we thought it would be a safe and fun option to provide a one on one shopping experience. This has now become one of our favorite things to do!  We love having generations shop together in a fun, casual, personal day of shopping. Our private shopping option allows you to shop virtually with us or come over and shop.  We provide an experience for you that you will never forget, and we make it especially fun for the girls. 

In May of 2021, we opened our first booth at The Painted Tree in Frisco, Texas.  We quickly expanded to larger booths across from one another creating a “storefront” for our local KW family to shop.

Our dream was simple and hasn't wavered - we provide the ultimate age appropriate, 'sensory friendly' shopping experience that celebrates girls as they grow and inquire their own taste and personalities as well as a broad variety of styles for women of all ages.

We love how quickly our KW family has grown and we value your input, your questions, your ideas and your willingness to share your experience with friends. We will continue to provide the best customer service and merchandise that we can.

2. Returns & Exchange Policy

Kidz A La Mode Corp (“KW A La Mode”) does not accept any returns past 14 days. We will accept odorless, without stains of any sort, unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise. KW A La Mode reserves the right to deny exchanges of items that do not comply with this policy.

For exchanges please email us at billing@kidzalamode.com within 14 days of receiving the order to begin the exchange process.  If any of the item(s) you are wanting to exchange are not available, we will issue a store credit for the cost of the item you are exchanging when purchased.  We will respond back to all Customer Service emails within 48 hours.

Please note shipping is non-refundable.

International Orders (Including Canada): We are not currently shipping outside of the U.S., but we are working on an international shipping solution. Please check back soon.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards + the below items cannot be returned for store credit. 

  • Shows evidence of wear
  • Has been washed
  • Accessories and Make Up(jewelry, headbands, scrunchies) 
  • Was purchased with a store credit (partially or full)
  • Is an intimate (bralettes) or bodysuit
  • Is a sale item
  • All sale items are final sale
  • Any item purchased at 25% off or higher during our seasonal promotions
  • Holiday/seasonal items are non returnable 

 

Please allow 3-5 business days to process exchanges once the original order is received back. 

 

3. Shipping Policy

Free Shipping:

We offer Free Standard Shipping on orders $50 or more. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for delivery.

Shipping Your Order:

Orders will be processed and shipped within 5-7 business days of the original order date. Please allow additional processing time during holidays and promotional periods. Due to the unpredictability of a parcel service, there may be courier delays across all couriers.  

For security purposes, packages with merchandise valued at $500 or more are shipped requiring a signature for confirmation of delivery as well as added insurance.

Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs are calculated automatically through the carrier based on the weight and dimensions of your order as well as the distance it is being shipped.

 

 

 

4. REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy Updated February 24, 2023. 

Please read the below as our return policy has changed and keep in mind we are a small business who strives to bring you weekly new arrivals. 

We have a 14-day return for store credit policy. Which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to return to us FOR STORE CREDIT ONLY. 

To be eligible for a return for store credit, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you must contact us at billing@kidzalamode.com with your order number and why you are returning. Please note, we do not provide comped return labels. From there you will be provided with instructions on how to return.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

5. Personal Shop

Come and join us for a one on one shopping experience. You provide us with details with what you are looking for, size, and style. We will then personally pick items for you. We will also pick a few items that would surprise you. Each shopper is unique and we will work to provide a personal shopping experience. We love when multi-generations and friends come shop together. We have something for everyone. 6. Where to find Us

Come shop our boutique at The Painted Tree in Frisco, TX. We are located at booths D3 and D4. The Painted Tree is located 2930 Preston Rd Unit 200B Frisco, TX 75034. The Painted Tree is open daily from 10AM-8PM. Stay tuned for new locations…..
